Weekend Update

We went to Portland this weekend to see The 1975!

We left Saturday morning so we could spend the day shopping. We went to a few shops and then stopped for a late lunch at Tilt, which was incredible! After Tilt we ditched the shopping and started a mini bar crawl...
Brass band outside Nordstrom
Best sweatshirt ever... Brady didn't get it
Yes!

Highly recommended
Walk, walk, walk
Bailey's Taproom
Testing out the new neck gaiter
Christmas in the city
The smell lured us over
We went back to the hotel to quickly get ready for the concert. We walked to the Roseland Theater and noticed a line that looped around the entire block. Apparently, people had been camping out since two o'clock the previous afternoon. We didn't want to wait in line so we went for a couple more drinks.
Curling your hair with a straightener is hard... I had to call in reinforcements
Ready for the concert!
This line went on for FOUR blocks
Went back to Bailey's :)
The concert was so good! The 1975 put on a great show...
Thrilled (and intoxicated), obviously
How we end every night in Portland
Sunday started with brunch at Mother's Bistro and walk along the river. We were going to squeeze in a bit more shopping, but it started pouring rain. We grabbed some coffee and got on the road.
Another good find
Eggs benny. Standard.
Waffles for Brady, per usual

Stocking Stuffers

... or small gifts. This is what my sister's and I get for each other. My list this year includes a lot of lounge items.

PJ's are my weakness, especially bottoms. I just can't resist a pair of flannels. Pair them with some MUK LUKS and you are in business for some serious Netflixing.
2 | The Body Shop Body Butters & Scrubs
Can't go wrong with The Body Shop. I go through body butters and scrubs so quickly so it's great to stock up this time of year. I also really love their holiday scents.
Sports bras are so much more expensive than they should be. Therefore, great gift idea. I recently found the best one yet. Hello Nike Pro Indy...
4 | Beanie & Gloves
For some reason I really love buying cold-weather accessories. Always a great option this time of year. Plus, you can go for cashmere if you're feeling extra fancy.
5 | Throw Blanket
My mom and I have been admiring the faux fur throws at Pottery Barn. They're so luxurious and cozy. West Elm have some pretty good ones at a lower price point.
