Weekend Update

Brady and I had a great weekend at home!

Friday night we went to Engine House No.9 with Molly. We go out nearly every weekend and try to find new places, but Molly always knows the good spots. This place was had the best cider I've ever had, plus some pretty amazing pizza and mac & cheese :)
We had a ton of sunshine on Saturday. Brady and I went for a run along the Puget Sound. Then, a little stroll through the cutest neighborhood. I was drooling over little cottages and immaculate landscaping.

The cutest house! Right on the Puget Sound
Stadium High School overlooking the Puget Sound
Mt. Rainer was visible the entire weekend
Brady had a poker party Saturday night so I spent the evening catching up on new House of Cards episodes and reading my current book- You Should Have Known. The ultimate relaxation night.
Brady requested a hike to Mt. Si on Sunday. He had already done this one a few months ago, but he thought I might enjoy it. He was wrong. This hike brutal. There were far too many switchbacks and many spots that I had to scale up on all fours. We finally got to the top with a bit of rock climbing. It was freezing cold at the top- despite my three layers. I've never felt more out-of-shape, uncoordinated, and discouraged. The cherry on top was taking the wrong trail down and ending up at a parking lots 3 miles from our car. Fortunately, a man offered us a ride back to our car.

I had absolutely zero energy when we got home. We ordered MSM subs and got in the hot tub to soothe our sore muscles. I crashed on the couch around 7:30. A whole new level of exhaustion.
