Ann and I took the train from Paris to Reims for a champagne tour. Caitlin didn't feel well on this day so she stayed in Paris.
It was a very long day. We left the apartment in Paris before 6:00 am and didn't get back until after 8:00 pm. It didn't help that I was car sick the entire day. Every time I started to feel better, it was time to get back in the van😩 We both agreed it could have been a half day tour, but we did learn a lot.
Avenue de Champagne is the most expensive street in the world because of the cellars below ground, but it's pretty spectacular above ground too. The city is immaculate. Everything is groomed and pristine. The views were incredible and the champagne was delicious. We toured Moet & Chandon in addition to two smaller champagne houses. We had a great lunch and beautiful weather!
Early morning walk through Reims
Taking pictures of every building
Avenue de Champagne
Look at that landscaping
Countless (not really because they do count) bottles of champagne
Time for tasting!
Tom, our tour guide
Lunch with the crew
Look at Henry (the dog)! LOL
Post-lunch pic feeling little woozy
Santé!
