March Favorites

Beauty
1 | NARS Matte Multiple (Vientiane) is back in rotation for Spring and Summer. I switched out my powder bronzer and blush for the cream versions. I forgot how much I like this bronzer - it's the perfect shade and looks so natural. It's also really soft and easy to blend. I blend with a brush, but fingers or a sponge work just as well.

2 | MAC Cream Color Base (Hush) was recently in a favorites post, but it's so good I had to mention it again. Hands down, favorite highlight. It's glowy and radiant, yet natural. I've noticed it's best when blended with fingertips.

3 | Olay Total Effects Moisturizer smells of sunscreen and I love it (definitely not fragrance free like it says on the bottle). It's a great moisturizer with anti-aging properties and SPF15, but my favorite part is the scent. I think sunscreen will always be one of my favorite smells.

4 | Caudalie Grape Water is refreshing and energizing. It's a very fine mist, but leaves my skin feeling hydrated - great for traveling to the desert. I imagine it's just like the Evian Water Spray, although I haven't tried that one.

5 | Banana Boat Sunless Tanning Lotion is an old favorite. I always go back to this lotion, especially in Spring/Summer. It leaves the perfect glow - never streaky or patchy. This helped me bare my pale legs in California.

Fashion
1 | Longchamp Le Pliage Neo Tote was a lifesaver in California. I never found a diaper bag I liked so didn't end up getting one. I had been using my Lo & Sons OMG Bag, but didn't want to take on our trip so this tote doubled as my handbag and diaper bag. It was perfect! Great size and easy to clean.

2 | Birkenstock Gizeh Sandals were another California staple. I was nervous about wearing flip-flops on this trip - we did a lot of walking and I always get blisters when I wear flip-flops for the first time of the season. These were great! No blisters and I wore them every. single. day.

3 | GAP Long Sleeve Tees are essential. They are so soft and stretchy. I bought them in the tall size, but they are super long and I probably would have been okay ordering the regular size. They're currently on sale and I'm going to get a few more.

4 | Merona Drawstring Shorts were purchased because my shorts still don't fit 😒. I was upset I had buy these, but they are actually really comfortable and keep their shape. I wore them several days in San Diego and they didn't get stretched out.

5 | Gilligan & O'Malley Nursing Tanks are the best nursing tanks I've found (and I've tried a lot). They're long, soft, comfortable, and easy to unhook (one-handed). My sister gave me one and I bought two more. I want all the colors.

Miscellaneous
1 | Ferie and Fray Honey Sea Salt Soy Candle smells amazing. I got it from a local shop when my mom was in town - she got the same scent and loves it too. It actually reminds me of Bath & Body Works Endless Weekend, which I burned constantly last summer.

2 | Method Lime and Sea Salt Dish Soap has a pump, which I never realized I needed until I started washing bottles and pumping supplies (with a million parts) multiple times a day. I really love this scent too! (Random favorite, I know)

3 | Covered Goods Nursing/Carseat Cover is so versatile - carseat cover, nursing cover, and makeshift burp cloth when you forget to pack one (oops). On that note, it washes really well. It's super soft and doesn't pill. It comes in a lot cute colors and designs.

4 | Coffee Mate Almond Milk Creamer is spicing up my decaf coffee. I inadvertently gave up dairy - my only source of dairy was greek yogurt during my pregnancy and it doesn't sound good anymore. Evie's pediatrician recommended giving up dairy to reduce spit-up (hasn't worked yet) so now I'm mindfully avoiding dairy and I don't miss it - this creamer is amazing! I like vanilla and hazelnut!

5 | Billions is my latest obsession. Brady introduced me to it. We binge-watched this series throughout March and now we have to watch it one episode each week like normal people... very annoying.

February Favorites

Beauty
1 | MAC Eyeliner (Rich Experience) is the only makeup I've been wearing. I don't fill in my brows or apply mascara since getting my lash/brow tint six weeks ago, but I do like a little eyeliner when I'm leaving the house. This subtle brown shade is perfect for everyday.

2 | Essie Sugar Daddy Nail Polish was my wedding polish so I had to repurchase when I noticed it at Target. I've been wearing this color for the past month. It's a good neutral shade for Spring and prevents me for picking at my nails or biting them (horrible habit).

3 | The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter is back! I was obsessed with this scent a couple years ago. It was discontinued last year and I'm so happy it's back. I stocked up when I was shopping their site and then I found it at TJMaxx (for $6!) - my supply should last a good six months now.

4 | Tony Moly Sheet Masks are the first sheet masks I've tried and I'm impressed. They look ridiculous while you're wearing them, but my skin has never felt more soft or hydrated after taking these masks off. This combo pack from Amazon is a steal!

5 | Verb Leave-In Mist has been a lifesaver lately. My hair seems to be getting more coarse and knotted since giving birth. This detangles and smooths my hair when used with a Wet Brush. My hair is much more manageable and less painful to brush now.

Fashion
1 | Gilligan & O'Malley Robe is featured in nearly every photo of Evie and I. I can't stop wearing this robe. It's soft and comfortable and easy access for nursing. I really love this color for Spring and the price is unbeatable.

2 | Gilligan & O'Malley Bralette is not marketed as a nursing bra, but it's perfect! The fabric is so soft and breathable and the v-neck is perfect for breastfeeding. Shopping for nursing bras has been a nightmare - they're all unflattering and expensive! I'm so happy with this purchase. Now I need more colors!

3 | Ugg Scuffette II Slippers were on my Christmas list, but I never got them. Nordstrom was always sold out of the chestnut color. I was still searching for them in February so when Zappos had them in stock I had to act quickly. They've been a wardrobe staple during maternity leave.

4 | Nike Tech Fleece Hoodie is expensive for a hoodie, but so worth it! Brady couldn't believe I spent $100 on a sweatshirt, but he's come around since I've worn it nearly everyday since I got it. I really like the length - the back is longer and covers the bum.

5 | Lululemon Align Pants are the most comfortable yoga pants and I've been wearing them every time I leave the house since giving birth. Sadly, I still can't fit in my pre-pregnancy jeans so I've been in Lululemon for the past month.

Miscellaneous
1 | MaraNatha All Natural Almond Butter is the best almond butter I've tried. Way better than Justin's Almond Butter in my opinion. It doesn't separate and really doesn't need to be stirred. I also prefer the taste. Almond butter and honey on toast has been my go-to snack.

2 | Mrs. Meyer's Lavender Daily Bar Soap is creamy, hydrating, and lathers really well. Plus, it smells great! My mom bought this when she was here and now I'm hooked. I've also been impressed with all the cleaning products I've tried from this brand... add this to the list.

3 | WaterWipes are not just baby wipes. They are so universal. We use them all the time to clean her hands and face (she spits up a lot) and I use them after pumping. Plus, they are all natural - 99.9% water. No issue with diaper rash yet.

4 | Love by Lana Del Rey has been on repeat the past couple weeks. I have a nursing playlist for Evie and I, but lately we've just been listening to this on a loop during our feedings. I'm not usually a fan of Lana Del Rey so this favorite really surprised me.

5 | DockATot Deluxe Dock is a favorite for Evie and I. She sleeps in it (in her crib) every night, but we also use it throughout the day for naps and playtime. It's nice to move it around the house and will be really convenient for travel.

January Favorites

Beauty
1 | MAC Hush was the best Christmas gift from Brie. I've worn it every. single. day. It's a natural, creamy highlight that I'm addicted to. A quick swipe over the cheekbones, nose, and cupid's bow leaves you with that "lit from within" glow.

2 | Lavanila Healthy Deodorant is surprisingly good. I was skeptical at first, but figured it was worth a try (I'm usually one for deodorant + antiperspirant). I've been wearing this every day and saving my antiperspirant for workouts.

3 | R+Co One Prep Spray does it all - detangles, smoothes, softens and protects from heat. Plus, it smells amazing! I only use this spray followed by the The Living Proof Full Thickening Cream then blow-dry and that's my hair routine done.

4 | Formula X Nail Polish is currently on sale (can't beat $5 these days) and is quickly becoming my favorite polish. I love the formula - it goes on smooth and opaque and lasts all week. I picked up two new colors last week.

5 | Sephora Pro Flawless Powder Brush is another item currently on sale! I'm a big fan of the Sephora Pro brushes - they hold up so well and don't shed. It's been ages since I got any new brushes and this one is so soft. I'm anxious to upgrade all my brushes now :)

Fashion
1 | Burberry Bowpark Trench is the best thing I've bought in a long time. I've been coveting this trench for over a year and it was sold out everywhere. I finally found it at Seattle Premium Outlets. I love the material, the color (navy), and the cut (still fits my 9-month pregnant belly).

2 | All Saints Dahlia Cardigan is on mega-sale! This cardigan is so cute and comfortable - I wore it three days in a row. I'm seriously tempted to buy it another color. Plus, it washes really well (delicate cycle, air dry).

3 | Calvin Klein Bralette is so good I had to buy three. I had one, but packed it in my hospital bag. I kept taking it out to wear so I bought a few more. These bras are so comfortable - definitely my delivery bra.

4 | Calvin Klein Essentials Roll Waist Pants are super soft and bump-friendly. I envision these pants on repeat during maternity leave. Loungewear is my life these days and Calvin Klein is killing it - definitely worth looking into.

5 | Lacoste L2737 Eyeglasses have been a lifesaver the past couple months. My eyes have been very dry, which apparently will only get worse while nursing (according to my optometrist). Taking out my contacts and putting on glasses is the first thing I do after work. This pair is my current favorite.

Miscellaneous
1 | The Crown was my January Netflix binge. This show is addictive - informative and entertaining. I love anything related to the royal family. I finished the entire series in a week.

2 | Chia Seeds were recommended by my mom and I've been sneaking them into everything... smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, salads.  They're full of vitamins, fatty acids, and fiber - healthy addition to my diet to counteract all the carb cravings.

3 | Tazo Chai Tea Latte Mix was recommended by my mother-in-law (in addition to the Breville Milk Frother) for the best at-home chai lattes. This is now my favorite part of the day. Five ounces of chai with six ounces of unsweetened almond milk is perfection.

4 | Ello Travel Mug was much needed. I had been using my old travel mug for years and it was falling apart. I love this one keeps my coffee/tea hot for several hours and it's dishwasher safe! Very cute design too.

5 | MyPublisher Photo Books are amazing quality - thick paper, lay-flat pages, crisp images. I've been making yearbooks since we got married and love looking back on the memories. I finally got caught up and finished 2016. I'm ready to make a baby book next.

December Favorites

Beauty
1 | Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara is a new discovery that I've quickly become obsessed with. It's the most comfortable mascara to wear (feels like nothing) and provides great volume and definition. I got this mascara at least 6 months ago and totally forgot about - it seems like it's drying out quickly or it's just old.

2 | MAC Eye Shadow Palette (Orb, Wedge, Espresso, All That Glitters, Woodwinked, Satin Taupe) is my custom-made palette that I've been wearing every. single. day. I try a different combination each day, but always fill in my brows with Wedge and line my eyes with Espresso. Seriously, every color is a winner.

3 | Sugar Fresh Lip Balm is pricey, but so worth it. It's a little luxury every time I reapply throughout the day. This makes a great gift - I actually bought one last month then my sister and sister-in-law got me a gift set for Christmas so I'm stocked up and loving it.

4 | Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb is the most hydrating moisturizer - perfect for this time of year. It works so well on my oily skin - hydration, but no break-outs. It sinks into the skin so quickly and makes my skin feel amazing. I had never heard of this brand, but I definitely want to try their other products now.

5 | Formula X Sheer Strength Polish has been on my nails nonstop for the past month. My nails are growing so quickly thanks for pregnancy/prenatal vitamins, but I'm also so tempted to bite them - easily my worst habit. This adds a subtle tint and prevents me from biting my nails. Win, win.

Fashion
1 | Lauren Ralph Lauren Cutaway Wool Blend Coat is non-maternity, but bump friendly. I really wanted the All Saints City Monument Coat, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money. This coat is a great alternative. I really like that I'll be able to wear it next winter too.

2 | U|R Alexis Tech Gloves work so well. I can't believe this is my first pair of tech gloves - where have I been?? I was really annoyed with constantly taking off my gloves when we were in Victoria. These have been a game-changer, especially when we were in Leavenworth.

3 | Burberry Canvas Check Crossbody (currently on sale) is the perfect size. It's small and lightweight, but holds all the essentials. I don't think I'll ever be able to wear any other style of handbag. Hands-free is the way to go... probably more so with a baby.

4 | Wilfred Triangle Scarf was a Christmas gift from my mom a couple years ago. I love when the weather gets cooler and I can start wearing it again. It's warm and stylish. I the triangle shape is the best part - it drapes so well and looks good with everything. Definitely a wardrobe staple for me.

5 | Superga Cotu Sneakers are my favorite! I had a white pair a few years ago, but they got so dirty. This time around I went for an olive green color and I love them. They're cute and comfortable and a great price-point. These sneakers with a pair of skinny jeans is the best casual look.

Miscellaneous
1 | Verb Volume Shampoo was purchased on a whim during the Sephora VIB sale. I'm always on the hunt for new shampoo/conditioner, but this one is a winner. It's hydrating, volumizing, and smells amazing. My hair has been dull and lifeless during my pregnancy - isn't it supposed to get thick and full of body? I'm missing out, but this shampoo is helping.

2 | SmartWool No-Show Socks is another pricey one... $13/pair seems ridiculous, but the reviews convinced me and I can confirm they are the best no-show socks. They're comfortable and most importantly - don't slide down! Perfect with the Superga sneakers.

3 | The Laundress Sweater Comb has my cashmere sweaters looking much better! It was a bit scary to use the first time - it feels too harsh (like you'll end up with a big hole), but it removes pills so well. I'm quite please with the results.

4 | Heckedy Peg by Audrey Wood was my favorite book when I was little. My mom got the baby our old favorite books - such a great idea for any new parents! Brady reads to the baby and I every night. The baby's library is filling up and we are enjoying each new (and old) story.

5 | Apple Music is new to me - I'm still in the 3-month trial phase, but I'm loving it so far. I've found so many new artists and songs. I really like the curated playlists. I would definitely recommend the free trial.

October Favorites

Beauty
1 | Josie Maran Argan Oil Light has been my nighttime moisturizer the past couple months - switching to an oil a few nights a week has been so much better for my skin. Much more lightweight and hydrating.

2 | Miss Manga Mascara is an old favorite I rediscovered last month. I'm all about drugstore mascaras right now - I splurged on high-end mascaras (Trish McEvoy, Chanel) and was a really disappointed with them. Happily returned to Miss Manga :)

3 | Too Faced Natural Eye Palette is back in rotation. I suddenly had the urge to start wearing eyeshadow (it had seriously been 6 months since I had worn eyeshadow) and this is my go-to palette.

4 | St. Ives Scrub is the face scrub I go back to every time. I'm always tempted to try new scrubs and cleaners, but then I find myself constantly comparing them to this one. Can't beat the price either!

5 | Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne is my autumnal scent. I didn't think I would enjoy wearing fragrance while pregnant, but it's been the complete opposite. I'm (surprisingly) in love with all my perfumes at the moment.

Fashion
1 | Banana Republic Poncho is non-maternity, but bump friendly. I've been wearing it every week since I got it. The material, structure, and fit are top quality - worth the price!

2 | GAP Maternity Boatneck Tees are the newest edition to my maternity wardrobe. My love for GAP is real. These tees fit perfectly (nice and long) and don't loose their shape in the wash.

3 | DKNY Cape (similar) was purchased last year. I didn't get much wear out of it at the time, but it's been so nice to have lately now that my other jackets are getting difficult to zip. Cute and comfy!

4 | Motherhood Maternity Sleep Pants are soft, lightweight and breathable. I think these will continue to be a favorite beyond this pregnancy. Very affordable too!

5 | Sam Edelman Felicia Flats are looking very well-loved these days. I've been wearing them constantly (in rotation with Tieks) because they are so comfortable. They come in regular and wide widths - I have wide feet, but the medium width fits perfectly.

Miscellaneous
1 | Signature Soy Candles (from Target) are giving Bath & Body Works a run for their money! They smell amazing and burn evenly. I'm been loving the Autumn Harvest scent, but I'm eager to try the holiday scents.

2 | BoomChickaPop Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn is so good. I have to limit myself to two bags each week because it is so addictive. It's the perfect snack - sweet, salty, and light.

3 | Barefoot Dream Throw Blanket was bought for baby, but I've been it enjoying it so much. Softest blanket ever. I really want a Barefoot Dreams robe or cardigan now - these little cuddle buddies are super cute too.

4 | This Is Us is the best TV series I've seen in a long time. I finished the first six episodes in one week (via Hulu). Now I'm anxiously awaiting the next episode.

5 | WALLS by Kings of Leon has been on repeat for the past two weeks. "Waste a Moment", "Reverend", and "Around the World" are my favorites. Definitely worth a preview on iTunes...

September Favorites

Beauty
1 | BareMineral Complete Coverage Serum Concealer was purchased on a whim. I ran out of my beloved NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and stumbled across this in Sephora. I'm surprised by how much I like this concealer. I love the thin consistently - doesn't feel heavy, but covers well.

2 | L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara is an oldie, but a goodie. My Chanel mascara was irritating my eyes so I needed to switch things up. I remembered how much I love this one and had to purchase it asap. Seriously, all-time favorite (with Tarte Gifted).

3 | Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is a new find. I've been really into micellar cleansing waters lately. They're clarifying without leaving any residue like other cleansers. I'm really impressed by how well this one removes makeup.

4 | Lush Eau Roma Water smells heavenly. I keep it next to my rocking chair (where I spend 90% of my time at home) and use a few sprays every night. It's technically a toner, but I use it as a hydrating facial mist. It's very refreshing.

5 | The Body Shop Almond Body Butter is incredibly hydrating and smells amazing. I've always been a believer in moisturizing daily, but now that I'm pregnant I'm covering myself in body butter twice daily.

Fashion
1 | GAP Pure Body Stripe Tee is on repeat. GAP Maternity is killing it... the quality and prices are great. I have three of these long-sleeve tees and I never know what to wear the other two days of the work week :) They're a must-have.

2 | GAP Batwing Cardigan is a fall staple for me this year. I wear this sweater every week. It's warm and looks great over any long-sleeve tee. Makes every outfit look more complete. Recently added the sale! I'm tempted to get the camel color.

3 | Leith Sleeveless Midi Dress is non-maternity, but perfect for any bump! It's very stretchy and comfortable. I really love the midi length and high neckline. Easy to pair with a cardigan and be ready in no time.

4 | Make + Model Best Boyfriend Lounge Pants are like butter! I bought them because of the rave reviews and they are so worth it. The softest pants. I wore them three days in a row last week - didn't even want to take them off for the wash.

5 | DL1961 Angel Ankle Maternity Pants are my fancy maternity pants. I really didn't want to spend much money on maternity clothes, but I caved when I nearly ripped one of my favorite pairs of Paige jeans. These pants are so comfortable and they keep their shape really well.

Miscellaneous
1 | Bath & Body Works Autumn Candle warms my Autumn-loving heart. Again, I have this candle burning next to my rocking chair (many favorites ends up in this little corner of the condo). This is a pretty basic favorite - I'm sure everyone is familiar...

2 | The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George took awhile to get into - about 30 pages to get hooked. Now I'm trying to read slower to make it last longer. It's a book about love and loss, but with a twist. I would highly recommend checking this one out.

3| Batiste Dry Shampoo Strength & Shine is my favorite from the Batiste range because of the smell. It works just as well as all the others - definitely my favorite brand for dry shampoo (and I've tried a lot).

4 | Essie Smokin' Hot Nail Polish is my favorite polish this time of year. It's the most flattering grey shade. I get compliments every time I wear this color. It's identical to the Formula X Atlantic-Pacific Taken By Storm shade, which I nearly bought.

5 | This Town by Niall Horan was an exciting release last week! I was on the fence at first and couldn't decide if I liked the song, but the more I listened the more I liked it. I knew he would branch off into an acoustic solo career.

August Favorites

Beauty
1 | Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer is an old favorite that I recently rediscovered. I got the SPF version for our trip to California and liked it even more than the original. It's hydrating, cooling, and smells really good.

2 | Smith's Rosebud Salve has been with me at all times this past month. I reapply about 30 times each day - obviously doesn't last long, but it feels so good. Plus, I really like the squeeze tube version.

3 | Chanel Volume de Chanel Mascara is dramatic. It's probably the blackest mascara I've used and the volume is insane (like the name suggests). Also, zero flaking throughout the day! The only downside is how difficult it is to remove.

4 | Boscia Cleansing Oil is the only cleanser I have that can remove the Chanel mascara! It melts away all my makeup with no greasy residue. I've been using it everyday and I still have quite a bit left so it's definitely lasting longer than I expected.

5 | Biosilk Blonde Shampoo was a spontaneous Amazon purchase, but I'm quite pleased with it. I haven't noticed a drastic change in my hair color, but I really like the way it lathers and I have peace of mind knowing my color is protected.

Fashion
1 | GAP Shift Dress (old, similar) has been worn weekly for the past 4-5 weeks. I completely forgot about it (I never look at the dress section of my closet) until I got pregnant and jeans started becoming uncomfortable. Shift dress = heaven.

2 | GAP Modern Cami is a new wardrobe staple. Banana Republic used to sell amazing basic tanks. Brie and I would buy them in bulk, but they stopped making them :( These are my new favorites. They're long, have good stretch, and a great price point.

3 | Hudson Signature Bootcut Jeans are one of few pairs of non-maternity pants that still fit (without a hairband). I've had them for years, but they've always been too big. I'm so glad I kept them now! I love the style and it's nice to fit in some regular clothes still.

4 | Birkenstocks (Gizeh) were a necessary purchase in Santa Monica. I got blisters from walking in my Havaianas all day so we stopped by Nordstrom for an immediate change of footwear. These saved my feet! Love them.

Miscellaneous
1 | Nalgene Water Bottle is another item that's with me all day. I get anxious if I don't have water with me. I've been drinking 45-64 ounces of water each day and this helps me keep track of my intake. Plus, it's more sanitary than my Camelbak with the straw.

2 | Lush Sandstone Soap is a favorite for both Brady and I. He's obsessed with lemon-scented soup. Not only does this smell great, but I really like the exfoliation - it's pretty harsh so I only use it every few days. Feel squeaky clean afterwards.

3 | The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is one of few books I've actually re-read. I'm typically one-and-done when it comes to books and movies, but this book is sooo good. It completely transports you to a different (WWII) time. Highly recommend!

4 | White Bedding will always hold a special place in my heart. It's so easy (seriously, Mom!) - just bleach it periodically and it looks new again. We had our old bedding - also white - since we first got married, 4 years ago. It was time for a change, but it had to be white.

5 | Yogi Raspberry Ginger Tea has been my coffee substitute lately. It has a little caffeine and tastes great. It's nice to drink a warm (caffeinated) beverage in the morning. This flavor tastes like Autumn :) yum.

May Favorites

Beauty
1 | Bumble & Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish is actually empty in this photo. I've been using it every day for a little extra volume. It smells amazing and lasts forever- a little bit definitely goes a long way.

2 | Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil is the first cleaning oil that I actually like. It removes make-up so well and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy afterwards. It has actually become my favorite part of the whole skincare routine.

3 | Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm is also empty. This is probably the first lip balm I've completely finished. I use it every morning and every night. It's really thick and hydrating. I need to repurchase asap.

4 | Hourglass Ambient Bronzer (Radiant Bronze Light) has reached holy grail status. It's pricey, but you get a lot of product and it's incredibly pigmented (that's how I justify the $$$). Perfect for a sun-kissed summer glow.

5 | e.l.f. Blush Palette is definitely worth the $6 price tag.  I don't use the two darker shades, but the two lightest shades are great! It's nice to switch things up after using NARS Dolce Vita for the past 6 months.

Fashion
1 | Kate Spade Willa Flats = the best purchase I've made in months. I've been wearing them nearly every day and get tons of compliments on them. Plus, they're comfortable (and TTS). I'm actually considering buying another pair.

2 | Ray-Ban Aluminum Clubmasters are an obvious favorite if you've seen any of my recent 'Weekend Update' posts. These are the sunglasses I had to repurchase after losing my first pair in the Puget Sound. I feel cooler when I wear them :)

3 | Shinola Wristlet (similar) has been convenient the past couple weekends we've been in Seattle. I love carrying wristlets and mini bags, but this one is my favorite because of the quality. The leather is soft and luxe and I really like the silver hardware.

4 | Michele CSX Watch has been making a reappearance the past few weeks. I wear watches in waves - months without wearing them, then suddenly I feel naked with it. This one has always been my favorite and I love that the band is interchangeable.

5 | Coach Trench (similar) is a classic. I wear trench coats year round in the PNW. However, I switch it up from black to khaki when the weather gets warm. I've had this coat for 5 years and it still looks great.

Miscellaneous
1 | Bath & Body Works Tahiti Candle smells so good. I just started burning it a few days ago. I keep telling myself to "burn conservatively" so I don't finish it off in a week, like I usually do. Give it a sniff next time you're at Bath & Body Works!

2 | L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes are surprisingly good. I worried it would be streaky, but it applies evenly and one towelette is good for the entire body. I still prefer the lotion, but these have been very handy.

3 | Belvia Bites are more of an obsession for me (and definitely Brady). We eat them everyday and actually started buying them in bulk from Amazon Prime Pantry. They're delicious and keep you feeling full. A staple in my work bag.

4 | Theo Chocolate is the perfect treat at the end of the day. I've tried nearly all the different flavors, but mint and coconut are my favorite. I hadn't realized they're based in Seattle until we stumbled across their factory in Fremont... makes me like them even more :)

5The Affair was also a legitimate obsession. I watched two seasons in 10 days. The storyline, the actors, the (beach) setting are all very appealing. I'm impatiently waiting for season 3 to premiere.

April Favorites

Beauty
1 | Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner (Stash) is a dark forest green shade with a bit of shimmer. It's a great alternative to black and brown. I love these eyeliners- they have great pigmentation and last all day (as the name suggests).

2 | Smashbox Primer Water is my favorite part of my skincare/makeup routine. I don't think it works well for setting makeup and I haven't noticed any benefit by using it before makeup. I mainly use it as a refresher in the AM and PM.

3 | NARS Lip Gloss (Chelsea Girls) was a birthday gift from Molly and has quickly become my favorite gloss. It's really comfortable to wear. Definitely not as sticky as the Buxom Lip Polish. This color is the perfect everyday nude color.

4 | Pureology Precious Oil Shampoo/Conditioner is the best smelling shampoo/conditioner! My hairdresser uses this and I immediately purchased it after my hair appointment. It's great for color-treated hair and provides lots of shine.

5 | OPI Cajun Shrimp is my favorite Spring/Summer shade. It's vibrant and fun- a definite mood booster. I love having this color on my nails (and toes). It's the best reddish, coral shade I've found. A staple for any polish collection.

Fashion
JCrew Wool Jackie Cardigan is so good I had to buy a second color.   I don't like the cotton version, but the wool one is an all-time favorite. They fit great and keep their shape (if they aren't dried). Plus, the color selection is unbeatable.

LNA Deep V Tee is my new favorite white tee. The search for white tees seems to endless. This one is perfect because it's long and not too sheer. It's 100% cotton so I'm a little nervous to dry it. For now, I've been steaming it after it air drys.

Nike Pro Indy Sports Bra is a little pricey for a sports bra, but totally worth the $$. I found them at the Nike Outlet and bought three (in addition to the two I already owned)... the addiction is real. Once you try this bra you can't go back.

Lululemon Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve Top is cute and comfortable. It's a great layering piece. I like to wear a tank to the gym (or PT), but always throw this over the top. I have a couple colors, but could still use a couple more. Definitely worth the price.

Lululemon Wunder Under Pants have also been purchased in multiples... I didn't realize how often I do this until now. I've rambled on about these pants many times. They're so comfortable, unlike some leggings which can be too tight and restricting.

Miscellaneous
Cleopatra by The Lumineers has been playing non-stop the past few weeks. I have it playing so often it's been getting stuck in Brady's head. I hear him singing "Ophelia" randomly throughout the day. Not the song, just the word "Ophelia" over and over lol.

The Body Shop Shower Gel lathers really well and smells great. I have the blueberry, raspberry and moringa scents. They're all good. I'm really disappointed they haven't brought the harvest raspberry scent back yet. I'm still holding out hope for a summer return.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Lotion smells of sunscreen and I'm ok with that! It reminds me of the Bahamas every time I apply it. That's my favorite part, but it's also very moisturizing. It will be great in summer when I don't want to use a heavy body butter.

Bath & Body Works Lilacs Candle is heavily scented. I light this candle in our kitchen and after a few minutes the entire condo smells of fresh-cut lilacs. Perfect scent for this time of year. Give it a sniff next time you're in BBW.

Yellow Phone Case is like sunshine in my pocket (just like the song). It's very uplifting to look at yellow so much throughout the day. It's gotten a little blue around the corners from when it's been in my back pocket, but not too noticeable.
