Work It Out

Nothing motivates like a good playlist and this one is pretty epic, if I do say so myself. I owe all my good runs to this playlist...it's definitely not my fitness level pushing me through.
Heavy on the pop/alternative genre, just the way I like it.

P.S. This photo has me missing summer (and long hair!), but definitely not these stairs.

Weekend Update

A recovery weekend at home...

We went to The Big Short on Friday night. It was amazing! Such a great movie. Informative, entertaining, thought provoking... we were both really into it. We had a later dinner at Wild Fin afterwards, where we discussed the movie at length.

Harvest salad was great
We had a late start to our Saturday morning. I went for a run, but then spent the afternoon lounging around the house. We went shopping in Bellevue in the evening and Brady took me to The Pine Box for dinner. It's a pub now, but used to a mortuary. The building itself is something to see, but the food/drinks are equally impressive.
Rainy run
Bellevue traffic. Always a treat
Anthro... I always go in and always leave empty-handed

Sunday was a beautiful day. We went for a very long walk, followed by brunch at Montamara Kitchen. Unfortunately, my phone died halfway through our walk and didn't get any photos the rest of day.

Obsessing over mini bags, per usual.

Weekend Update

Portland with Brent and Molly was a blast!

Brady was already in Portland for work so Brent, Molly, and I drove down Friday night to meet up with him. We started the pub crawl immediately with Rogue, 10 Barrel, Fat Head's. Of course, we had to take a burger break at Tilt. It was just as good as I remembered.
First stop
German Sparkle Party sour beer
Back at Tilt
We were all a little in love

Saturday was rainy. Real rain. Downpour rain. We had brunch at Kenny and Zuke's followed by shopping and bar hoping (again). It seemed like every time we went inside it would stop raining... until we went back outside.
Rain, rain

Eggs benny!
Exploring Powell's
So many books
Shopping break... watching football
Courthouse
We went to the hotel to freshen up and pregame :) before going back out to explore a different part of the city (north of the bridge). We went to so many places. I honestly can't remember half of them. When things started to get sketchy we returned to our old faithfuls... Rogue and 10 Barrel.
Brent and Molly got me cider for the b-day
Drinks at the Departure Lounge
Amazing views of Portland
The gang
Hair of the Dog brewery
Lots of flights
More burgers
This was the best!
Cider flights :):)
We survived on burgers and beer (cider for me). Sunday was a bit rough. We went out for breakfast and watched the Seahawks (disappointing) game before heading home.
