Weekend Update

This weekend looked a lot like last. Our summer has been a continuous cycle of eating, napping, and trips to the park/pool. 

We managed to squeeze in happy hour on Friday🍻 I restarted Catastrophe for the fourth time. Evie learned how to give Eskimo kisses. We picked dozens of blackberries. That pretty much sums it up. Riveting stuff, I know.

Good Stuff

Babe Lash and Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara is doing good things for my lashes. I started using this lash serum two months ago. I used it everyday for the first month. Now I use it every three days. My lashes have never been this long! The results are amazing. I also love this mascara for summer. It lengthens and separates. Great for a natural look. 

Iced Chai Latte has my drink of choice the past couple weeks. I've been buying this chai mix in bulk. I take this to work everyday and it's such a good start to my morning. I had to start buying the decaf version so I can enjoy it at night too. 

Rothy's flats/loafers are the most comfortable shoes. I found myself wearing the (wine) flats constantly so I got the (navy) loafers. They are much more narrow than the flats, but I've been breaking them in and love them just as much now. I hardly ever wear Tieks anymore!

It Takes Two is on Amazon Prime! I've already watched it twice. My childhood was full of Mary-Kate & Ashley. I didn't believe Brady when he said he had never seen this movie😱 Boys really missed out on the magic of the Olsen twins.

Weekend Update

I've been working more lately so I'm thoroughly enjoying weekends at home (and neglecting this blog😁).

We went for many walks to our nearby parks. We go for at least three walks each day. Evie likes every feature in the playground now... slides, swings, climbing walls. She makes the rounds.

We also went to the pool on Saturday. Evie had a blast. She ran circles in the baby pool and played with everything. She was so tired she fell asleep on the ride home. 

Brady and I spend nearly every evening on the weekends the same. We order take-out (usually sushi), rent movies, sip on drinks and chat on our patio. I look forward to this time all week.

Weekend Update

Brady's parents were in town last week. We got to spend the 4th of July together and Evie loved spending time with her nana and grandpa. She was spoiled rotten with gifts and attention... her favorite😊

I went to the Harry Styles concert on Saturday night. Brady's sister went last week in Minneapolis. We share a love for Harry. She said it was a great show so I bought my ticket two hours before the concert and went solo while Brady stayed home with Evie. He's such a good performer. I loved it!
