Weekend Update

A solo weekend. Brady didn't get back from Alaska until Sunday afternoon. The most exciting part was getting my hair done...

Weekend Update

We had a quiet weekend home before Brady left for Alaska.

We went for a walk on Friday night. We stopped by the high school on our way home so Brady could run the stairs while I watched the high school soccer game. We planned to go out for dinner, but on the drive there my hip started hurting. We went home for movies and take-out instead.

Saturday was our productive day. I was in the spring cleaning mood. We woke up early and deep cleaned the condo (and my car) before Brady left for the airport. I spent the evening solo... shopping and watching Netflix :)

On My Mind

1 | The Lumineers new album is a must-have! A mix of fun, upbeat tunes with slow, melancholy songs. It's perfect for Spring/Summer. Sleep on the Floor and Ophelia are my current favorites. I would love to see them in concert!

2 | I actually started cooking. Nobody is more shocked than I. Exercise is currently off-limits, so I've been trying to work on my diet. So far it's been lots of salmon and salads, but I've started pinning again for inspiration...

3 | I've been on the hunt for nude heels to wear with my bridesmaid dress at Brie's wedding. I purchased this pair from Sam Edelman. I like them, but I don't love them. I've been looking at a couple different styles...

4 | Slightly obsessed with skincare at the moment. Brie got me the Philosophy moisturizer, eye cream and night cream for Christmas and it has rocked my world. The products are great, but I especially love the routine. I grabbed a few new things to try during the Sephora sale...

Weekend Update

We celebrated Molly's birthday with a pub crawl in Ballard and it was a success. The weather was perfect and the patios were open. We had a solid 12 hours of eating and drinking in the sunshine. 

We started at Kangaroo and Kiwi, then Pono Ranch, dinner at The Market Arms, Peddler Brewery, and ended the night at Shelter... I would have never remembered any of that without the photo evidence.  

Love this place. Best patio.
