We were married at the One & Only Ocean Club in Paradise Island, Bahamas with only our immediate families in attendance. We had a large brunch reception with our extended families and friends two weeks later, back in Iowa.
My parents have a timeshare in Nassau, Bahamas. We've been vacationing there for years so it was pretty easy to select the location. We were in the Bahamas a little over two weeks. We arrived a week ahead of the wedding to finish up final details and relax with our families; then we honeymooned at the One & Only Ocean Club for a week.
Best time of my life!
