Life Update

Ok, more of an Evie update...

I can't believe it's only been two weeks. It feels like she's been with us forever. I honestly can't imagine our life without her. Brady loves to watch her rooting when she's hungry and he's completely taken with her newborn scent... he can smell her the moment he walks into the room. I've found there is nothing better than rocking my baby to sleep and listening to her kitten noises (what we call every cute noise she makes).

She's grown so much within the past week. She's holding her head up much longer and she's definitely filling out - her little belly and cheeks are so round and cute. She's already up to 8.5 lbs and filling out her newborn size clothes really well - we probably only have a week or two left in this size. She's currently in the 50th percentile for height and weight, but 97th percentile for head circumference.

She's sleeping better. We're awake every three hours for diaper changes and feedings, but she falls back asleep quickly. We had a few nights the first week that were really rough... cluster feeding until 5 am😳

We've only ventured out of the house a few times... a couple outings with Brent, Molly, and baby Blair plus pediatrician visits and walks. I'm so excited for Spring! I'm desperate to get out of the house and enjoy nice weather.

We have become obsessive, stalker parents. We take a million pictures every day. Ready for photo overload? Here's what the past two weeks have looked like...
