Scottsdale, AZ

Our trip to Arizona was great despite being sick for the first half. We flew into Phoenix on Friday night and drove straight to Flagstaff. We arrived at 3am and went straight to bed. We woke up early on Saturday for a quick breakfast at The Toasted Owl, which was great. Then, we drove up to the Grand Canyon. The words vast and beautiful are the only descriptive words that come to mind. A popular tourist attraction for good reason. I've never seen anything like it. I really loved this day!
These views seemed to go on forever

Evie didn't want to take a picture, she just wanted to look at the baby nearby
 Great family trip
The rocks were so blunted
There was a lot of jumping off these small rocks

Day two was spent in Sedona. The weather was amazing. We comfortably walked around in t-shirts, which felt great in November (and coming from Flagstaff). We wandered through the downtown area - eating, shopping, snapping photos. We drove to a few lookouts to play in the rocks (Evie's favorite pastime).

 My girl!
 Infinite rocks. Heaven for Evie.
We stayed in Scottsdale the next five days. It was much more chill. We walked around downtown Scottsdale and Tempe, went to the Phoenix Zoo, hiked in Papago Park. We also spent a good amount of time at the resort pool, which Evie and I loved! It was nice to relax, but Brady and I got a bit bored. We've gotten used to busy vacations so it feels weird to slow down.
 Cheers!
