Spokane, WA & Coeur d'Alene, ID

We made a trip east for the weekend. Brady had already visited the area, but it was my first time (because it's a long, long drive).

We made the 5-hour trek Friday night and got to Spokane just in time for a late dinner at The Wandering Table. The food was unique and delicious. We're really into tapas at the moments... we ordered four dishes and they were all a hit.
Kimchi tacos... Brady's obsessed with anything kimchi
Saturday started with a walk around downtown Spokane. We went to the cutest coffee shop I've ever seen, grabbed some breakfast and took a long walk along the river. It was a warm autumn day, the leaves were falling, the city was clean and quiet... heaven.
Looks like ISU's campanile

They have everything! Tees, soaps, candles, scarves, stationary. Oh, and coffee.
We spent the afternoon in Coeur d'Alene, ID. We hiked/walked Tubbs Hill trail followed by lunch at Crafted Tap House. Brady has made Crafted the new benchmark for all restaurants... the drinks, the food, the atmosphere, the outdoor patio- all 10's. The only thing missing was a view of the lake. We will certainly be back, but he's desperate to take his dad and brothers there.
A bit dry... Fire risk was still 5/5
Pineapple cider!
This tuna salad was amazing
We went all out
So well maintained
Food coma after lunch
We returned to Spokane for shopping and dinner at Zola, which really consisted of appetizers and desert after having such a big lunch.

Stopped by Anthropologie
We woke up early on Sunday for coffee then hit the road. It was a long, rainy drive through the mountains...
