Four Months

16 weeks! A lot has happened in the past 4 weeks.
Evie rolled over for the first time at 12-weeks! We caught it on video (posted here). Since then, she's been rolling like crazy when we put her down for tummy time. Now she's rolling to her left and right👏 Evie also had her first chortle at 13-weeks and it was sweetest sound ever. Peek-a-boo with Brady usually does the trick.

Her hand-eye coordination is really improving. She can reach for her toys and hold onto her rattles. She loves grabbing things (especially my hair) and putting them in her mouth (see photo above). She's very talkative and playful. It's fun to interact with her and actually get responses now. She lights up every time we smile at her and it makes. my. day.

Evie started her four-month sleep regression early😫 At 12-weeks she was waking every 3-5 hours. We were doing so well up until that point - 8 hour stretches! It was so frustrating to revert back to newborn sleeping hours. She's actually been better this week. She goes to bed at 7PM and wakes between 1-2AM - she nurses and gets a quick diaper change then it's back to sleep until 6-7AM.

She also started daycare at 15-weeks. The first four days were rough. Evie was only taking 30 minute naps at daycare and refusing bottles some days. By the fifth day she was doing so much better - eating regularly and napping for 2-3 hours. She been much more playful and content now that she's adjusted to her new routine. It's easier to drop her off now and know that she'll have a good day.

Evie was lucky enough the spend the past month with her Nana's💛 It was so nice to have our moms here to help and spend quality time with this little babe! Evie loved every minute.
