Leavenworth, WA

A weekend getaway is just what we needed to get in the holiday spirit!

Leavenworth is a Bavarian-themed town nestled in the mountains. The cute little shops, all the lights, and of course the snow created the most magical atmosphere. Holiday cheer was all around us.

We arrived Friday night just in time for dinner and a stroll around town. The lights were mesmerizing and the live Christmas music in the center of town was the perfect way to start our trip.

We woke up Saturday morning to the most beautiful snowfall, which lasted the entire day. We started our morning with breakfast at a local cafe. Then, we grabbed some coffee and went for a little nature walk. Brady wanted to see the river and he dragged me along. We spent the rest of the day/night shopping, eating, drinking, wine tasting. It was a full day spent in the most amazing winter wonderland.

Brady insists on outdoor eating. Fortunately, this place had tons of blankets.

We grabbed Starbucks and walked around town a bit before heading back to Tacoma on Sunday. It was still overcast, but we could see the mountains much better.
Pride and Prejudice... the perfect ending to any weekend
